TEAM AFRO would like to give a huge thanks to MAJOR SERVICE SERVICE centre at Moorooka for their hard work yesterday in replacing the upper & lower ball joints - what a mammoth effort.

Also thanks to them for waving the the road worthy certificate fee  - The SNOT ROCKET has passed road worthy ... just got to pass Dennis's keen eye in October now .We are ready to go ......

Our support by Major Service Centre was meant to be - their logo colours are the same as TEAM AFRO - bright yellow & green!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sunday saw Ross his son Joe and Darren install the new springs (yep they are springs!!) and shock in the rear of the snot rocket.

New verses old - easy to tell the difference ... now thats what I call springs..

Up she goes

Oh yeah Darren , don't forget the shocks - if the guys feel any bumps they must be huge --- comfort is the name of TEAM AFRO'S game.

Joe sustained the only injury of the day - though due to Darren's over zealous use of the grease, it was thought that many more were encountered , see below as to why .....

No sweaks on this car, Darren made sure of that.

WELCOME TO OUR NEW TEAM MEMBER ---GULL

There has been a change within the ranks of Team Afro --- due to work and personal committments TOAD has had to withdraw. 
So now Team Afro welcomes Ross - to be named forthwith as GULL - Ross named himself and gave a valid reason for the name which the team agrees with. For those of you going esCarpading see if you can figure it out.....

 GULL has yet to have his portrait taken for the team -- watch this space.

Afro at the esCARpade - experience

Team Afro, after finalising the motor change - a bit of a tune up and service they were ready to get the show on the road....

3 out of four AFRO members set out early to head to Kilcoy to get to first scruntineering then on to Palmwoods for lunch - would they make it?

A bit of shamelss advertising from Damo - AKA Team Booger main man.. Damian met up his conterparts on the way up to Kilcoy.

Laurie - has been given the official navigating job --- will he last all that way with Darren & Rob on board?

The underside of the snot rocket - Darren has a love of spray cans - thus all the radom bright panels on the car.

After mostly passing scruntineering the snot rocket leaves to allow the other cars their turn to be assessed. Team Afro came away with a list of to dos - mostly easy , some need a bit of work and some $$$$$ - 

Rabbit?  In trouble already? It has been told on Booger Mobile Blog that apparently Team Afro - more like Rabbit squirted Penny from their little toy on the roof of the snot rocket.

Made it - Palmwoods hotel for lunch. Darren & Laurie had their families waiting paitently for them -
